Activity Check January 23, 2008
Once again, it is time for an activity check. Things are a little different this time around, however, so make sure to read through the thread carefully. The check will last two weeks and will end on Feb. 6th, so post to it now!

Site-Wide Event
Kaze and Damien have decided to join forces and host a party at Kaze's Kekaa Drive home. Sure, maybe it is a little late for a Christmas party, but that doesn't mean there still isn't a little holiday cheer left, right? The only problem is, their originally planned "small get together" has become something much bigger then that.

Once you walk into the small apartment on the second floor you see a small hallway with three doors. Leading to either the closet, bathroom, or bedroom. If you go to the end of the hallway it eventually opens up to a small living room with a kitchen off to the left. Ryelee didn't put to much into decorating the small apartment. Theres a couch, T.V., and a chair in the living room. A small table in the kitchen with two chairs. Ryelee thinks the best part of having an apartment on the second floor is the deck. Though its not the biggest, she still enjoys the view, and she finds it a nice place to practice the guitar.
It's small, but Pandy figures she doesn't need much space. Her furniture is nothing special, but everything is put together so nicely, you'd think an interior designer did it. There is not a single white wall in the house, and to contrast this, each window has white (or similarly colored) drapes on it, which can be tied back with a ribbon color coded to the room. Most of the furniture is a dark cherry wood and the fabrics and cloths are soft and silky (although obviously not silk). The kitchen is black and white, the bathroom is red and white, the bedroom is cool colors, and the living room is warm colors. The only organized rooms in the house are the kitchen and bathroom; the other two rooms look messy, but Pandy insists she knows where everything is. The bedroom has a bed, a desk with a laptop, drawers, and a small closet. The living room has a deep red couch and a beanbag or two facing a normal-sized TV with a coffee table in the middle. There is light brown carpet in the living room and a green shag rug right by her bed.
Emmett's apartment would generally be described as boring. He never painted the walls or added any furnishings to show he was a permanent resident. The kitchen is supplied with bland glasses, dishes, and pans to cook in. A small maple dining table is set against the white wall, with only one chair pulled up to it. (The other chair is somewhere in the corner...) On the opposite end of the table are the dog's dishes, resting neatly on a floor mat. There is a small television set, and a black couch. In the bedroom is a weight set, a night stand, and a bed of course. Overall the place is well kept and tidy, but awfully plain.
Just right, as Hannah always says. It's really no more than a living room that someone put linoleum down in to make a little kitchen area, a bedroom, and a bathroom on the ground floor. Hannie seems to think it's just the right amount of space though. She is just one person, after all. The first thing you'll see when you come in the door is Austen, ready to pounce. All of the furniture is retro due to shopping at the thrift store. The paint on the walls is a beigish color that has gone slightly yellower in recent years, and the carpet is brown.
Chloe doesn't really put forth much effort into cleaning her small apartment, but then again it's small enough to where she can hurry and clean what she needs to if someone randomly shows up. Immediately after opening the door, to the right is the living room, with a couch right by the door, and a TV stand with a TV on top of it in the far corner. Beside the stand, a guitar controller for Guitar Hero is perpetually leaning on it, and inside is a bunch of games and stuff. Then there's the coffee table, usually with a book or two on it, paperwork if she had to bring it home, or medicine when she's sick. To the left of the front door is the small kitchen with the essentials- fridge, microwave, coffee machine. Down the hall- on the walls are various pictures, some just artistic works she liked and one or two of her in her Dress Blues or cop uniform- to the left is the small bathroom, and to the right it's her bedroom. Throughout, the apartment has off-white carpeting, except for the kitchen which has tan-ish tiles.
