Dean has lived in Maui for the majority of his life. He started out a good kid, but as he got older he became involved with gangs and the nightlife. He is a very strong-willed, protective, and determined person who likes to be out at night and get drunk. He doesn't hate Maui, but it isn't his first choice for a place to live, and he loves girls and danger.

Johnathan has lived here since he was sixteen, when his parents moved away to get him out of the city and away from drugs. It didn't help much, since when he came here he later on became a dealer of illegal drugs. Now, he has the biggest clientele of all the drug dealers, and prides himself in it. He loves getting high, one night stands, and frisky women.

This guy is a newbie to the area, which could be why he ends up in jail so often. He doesn't know the streets as well as those who have lived here for years. Whenever there is gang activity, he is there, and is usually the one that doesn't get away in time before the cops get him. All the same, he is smart, even if it doesn't always show. He likes smoking, girls in bikinis, and Friday nights.

Jack started out a good cop, but somewhere along the line became caught up in drugs and drinking. People talk to him and think that he is a good guy, but there have been many times on patrol that he has illegally bought some drugs for himself then let the seller go. Many criminals have gotten off easy because of him, and no one knows it yet. Jackson likes drugs, alcohol, and fast driving.

Tom Hanson is a genuine gentleman, and undercover police officer. He is very caring and likes helping people, which is one reason he is so good at his job. This is the guy you will see patrolling the streets during the day, or sometimes at night. Henry is new to the force, so often times he is stuck in places of little to no criminal activity. He has also been known to be a little klutzy some days, but always has the best intentions at heart. Henry likes his job, surfing, and going out for a round of beers during the weekend.

Ewelani comes from a long line of chieftans, remnants of the original inhabitants of Hawaii. There are still people that call him chief, but it is merely a title of respect. The more old fashioned ones will look to him for approval and advice. He inherited a farm from his father and works on it to this day. He married at the age of 19 to a woman of the same heritage named Kekoa, but she died giving him a child when he was 39. He raised Rosabela on his own, and she became just as proud and haughty as he is. Ewelani likes sunrises, martial arts, and prizes that come in cereal boxes.

Kale is a business man through and through. He talks business and means business and is a bit on the cocky side. He has the big bucks and lets you know it. He was born here in Maui but attended college in Honolulu where he now lives and does much of his business, but never forgets his roots. There are occasions when he needs a break from reality and will hop on his boat to take a leisurely trip back home. He loves Maui with all his heart and knows it is the one place his business doesn't come with him, however you can take the man out of the business but not the business out of the man. Kale will be the same with or without the multi-million dollar office building surrounding him. Kale likes deep sea fishing, traditional Hawaiian food, and money-making ideas.
